Insurance
Hang gliding can be a dangerous activity. Third party insurance is required and is provided by membership to the BHPA, (British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association), at £10 per day payable on arrival. First party accident insurance available on the day. You must be over 18 years old.
Booking Acceptance
All students will be required to read, understand and accept the conditions in the "Agreement and Liability" section of our booking form. (Link below)
Booking a Course
Send us your name, age and weight together with payment by cheque to "South Downs Hang Gliding". When buying as a gift let us know your name and address, together with the name, age and weight of the recipient. We send you a Voucher for the flying lesson. Contact us to book your chosen dates for training.
Weather Check
Phone our answer-phone after 7.30pm on the day before training and listen to the message. We meet at Sussex Hang Gliding & Paragliding, BN8 6JZ, two miles east of Lewes on the A27. On arrival you join the BHPA and complete the necessary paperwork.
Hang gliding is weather dependent, if your day is canceled you can rebook for another day without charge.
